UPDATE 1:30P.M. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at 10:11 this morning 20-year old Blair Welch, of Wichita was traveling eastbound on Interstate 70 when the 2003 Chevrolet Blazer she was driving left the roadway and struck the guardrail at mile marker 158.

Welch was transported to the Hays Medical Center with a possible injury.

 

10:15 a.m. Hays Emergency Responders were on the scene of an injury accident on I-70  west of mile post 159, toward the Hall Street overpass. One patient has been transferred to HaysMed.
