A new record low temperature was set this morning in Hays. According to the K-State Ag Research Center the official morning low temperature was 22 degrees. That breaks the record of 23 degrees set in 1967.

With a trace of snow on Tuesday, the moisture total for April is 1.05 inches and 3.78 inches so far in 2013.  We received 3.6 inches of snow this month and 36.5 inches of snow for the season
