Theft: The Hays Police Department investigated on theft report on Thursday. The alleged theft was reported in the 4300 block of Vine Street Thursday morning at 4:09.
Drug Offenses: Officers responded to the 4300 block of Vine Street Thursday morning for the report of a weapon. Officers investigated the incident as the unlawful use of a weapon. Officers also investigated drug offenses and driving under the influence in connection with the weapons report. The incident occurred at 2:54 a.m.
Escape: The Hays PD responded to the report of an incident for an escape from custody in the 1200 block of Fort Street Thursday afternoon at 5:25.
Driving Under the Influence: Officers conducted one driving under the influence stop on Thursday morning. The alleged DUI stop was conducted in the 1300 block of Vine Street at 2:25 a.m. Thursday.
Domestic Disturbance: Police Officers responded to a domestic disturbance Thursday morning in the 200 block of West 17th Street. Upon arrival officers began an investigation into a battery case in connection with the domestic report. The alleged incident occurred between 2:15 and 2:35 Thursday morning.
Criminal Damage: Officers investigated the report of damage to property in the 2700 block of Thunderbird Drive Thursday evening. The alleged criminal damage occurred between January 1st and April 25th at 7:30 p.m.
Motor Vehicle Accident: The Hays Police Department responded to three motor vehicle accidents on Thursday. The first accident was reported in the 3300 block of Vine Street Thursday at 12:11 p.m. A hit and run accident was reported in the 1100 block of Main Street Thursday afternoon at 1:43. The final accident was reported in the 200 block of East 32nd Street Thursday afternoon at 4:16.
