The car of a missing Salina woman was found Tuesday afternoon in the parking lot of an east Salina apartment complex.
Lt. Scott Siemsen of the Salina Police Department says the car of 27-year-old Kristin Tyler was found at 2130 E. Crawford about 3:45pm, by an officer working on the case that had been checking parking lots in the city.
Siemsen says the dark blue 1998 Buick La Sabre was towed to the Department impound to be searched for evidence.
Siemsen would not comment on whether or not if anything was found in the car.
Tyler was last seen by friends the evening of April 25th, and has not been in contact with either family or friends since that time.
Siemsen says there are five investigators working on the case aggressively, and they have been following up several leads including comments on social media, to determine if they are legitimate or hearsay.
Siemsen says the department continues to work the case as a missing person.
