
The Hays Hurricanes will be hosting an Olympic swim clinic for the Western Kansas Swim Club again this year.
Olympic gold medal swimmers Ian Crocker and Alyssa Anderson will work with swimmers from Hays and other Western Kansas Swim Clubs. The clinic is on May 31 at the FHSU Pool from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Crocker is a five-time (three gold, one silver, one bronze) Olympic medalist. He is a former world record holder in the 50 and 100 meter butterfly and the 100 meter freestyle. At the London 2012 games, Anderson swam for the winning U.S. team in the preliminary heats of the 4x 200 meter freestyle relay and earned a gold medal.
