Logan resident, Alexine M. Orr-Paden, passed away Monday, May 6, at the Graham County Hospital in Hill City, KS at the age of 82.  She was born in Norton County, KS on May 2, 1931 to Amon & Averill (Loughry) Smith.  Her husbands, Ted Orr and Don Paden, and son, Carl Orr, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, Robert Orr of Denver, CO, and Leland Orr of Phillipsburg, KS; daughters, Rebecca Post of Pratt, KS and Anita Lowry of Plainville, KS; brother, Irving Smith of Logan, KS; sister, Carol Wyatt of Norton, KS; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several stepchildren and step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 8, at 2:00 p.m. in the Logan United Methodist Church with Rev. Dean Gilbert officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pleasant View Cemetery, Logan.
