7p.m.Law Enforcement officials are working to track where the tornado in Northeast Ellis County came down. They want to check on whether residents or some farms near Emmeram had damage.  The tornado was seen on the ground at approximately 6:36 p.m. So far there are no reports of any serious damage or injuries. Also no reports of power lines down. Click on the map for a closer look at the approximate area where the tornado was reported.

 

Heavy rain and hail has made it difficult for storm spotters to follow the tornado. Stay tuned to Eagle Radio and Hays Post for additional information as it becomes available.

The storm moved into western Russell County at approximately 7 p.m. The National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for Russell County at 7:04 p.m.
