A thirty-seven year old Hays woman was arrested twice during a 24 hour period this week. Jevon Lynn Labarge was arrested at 12:42 a.m., on May 7, in the 3600 block of Vine Street on suspicion of battery and disorderly conduct. She was also arrested at 10:19 p.m., in the 2700 block of Augusta Lane on “suspicion of Battery of a law enforcement officer, Reckless with bodily harm, Interfering with Duties of a Police Officer
and Criminal Damage.”
Hays Police Lt. Ron Rounkles told Hays Post, “LaBarge was charged with two counts of Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and other charges. The first incident occurred at 2701 Augusta Lane; the second incident actually occurred at Hays Med after the she was transported there. Officers received minor injuries during both incidents and are not expected to miss any work.”
