Fun Summer Reading Program Set at HPL

HPL Summer ReadingReaders of all ages will explore all things underground this summer as Hays Public Library presents “Dig Into Reading” during their summer library program.

The 2013 Children’s Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through 5th grade, with crafts, prize drawings, storytimes, games, performers, and more.

The 2013 Kickoff Event will be on the Youth Services Floor of the Hays Public Library on May 23, from 10am-3pm. Come and go activities include registration for the summer program, a dinosaur bone dig with Sternberg Museum, underground animals with Sternberg Museum, music and entertainment by DJ Cain, a tattoo parlor, a dinosaur themed photo booth, free books, prizes, and much more.
