This week is National Police Week and May 15th is National Peace Officers’ Memorial Day. The flag of the United States will be displayed at half-staff on all government buildings on Wednesday

The Hays Police Department officers are wearing mourning bands over their badges all week in recognition of those who have died in the line of duty. We appreciate all those that have served.
