The TMP-Marian boys golf team is headed to the 3A state tournament after capturing the team title at Monday’s Cimarron 3A Regional held at the Cimarron Golf Course. The Monarchs shot a 332, edging second place Phillipsburg by three strokes. Both teams qualify for the 3A State Tournament on Monday, May 20 at the Seneca-Spring Creek Golf Course in Seneca.
The Monarchs were led by Kade Megaffin’s second place finish. The senior shot a 76, one shot back of Justin Unruh who won the individual title. Sophomore Max Megaffin shot an 80 and finished fifth. Freshman Hayden Rohr fired an 86 to finish 10th.
