Judge Grants Change of Venue Request in Murder Trial

Screen Shot 2013-05-16 at 7.40.49 PMA Saline County judge has granted a change of venue request in a first degree murder and child abuse trial. Attorneys for Antonio Brown requested the change saying his case was to well known in Saline County for him to get a fair trial. Now the state supreme court will decide where that trial will take place. Brown is accused of killing 14 month old Clayden Urbanek in 2011. The boy died from injuries related to internal bleeding and a broken rib. Brown originally pleaded no contest to the charges but a judge allowed him to withdraw that plea. Brown also faces charges for escaping custody after he walked out of the Saline County jail in February.
