A man died during a high-speed chase on I-70 Friday night in Dickinson County. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, “the driver was heading East at mile post  284 attempting to flee KHP units. For unknown reasons the man drove off the roadway into the south ditch and struck a cement culvert. The man was not wearing a seat belt. He was declared dead at the scene.”  No other details are currently available.
