Storm Damage Keeps Midwest Energy Busy

Authorities  today say that it was a tornado that caused damage across portions of Pawnee County on Saturday evening.  A home lost its roof but nobody was injured. An abandoned trailer west of Larned was also damaged along  with numerous trees.

Mike Morley, Corporate Communications Manager for Midwest Energy told Hays Post, “The storm took out about 2 dozen poles west of Rozell in Pawnee Co; tore up a few irrigation lines and minor damage (windows/shingles) to at least 1 residence. Crews made the area safe and will return on Monday to rebuild.
