More honors for Fort Hays State’s Maddie Holub. The senior was named First Team All-American by both the National Fastpitch Coaches Association and Daktronics which is voted on by the Division II sports information directors across the country. Holub becomes the first ever softball player in Fort Hays State history to receive honors by both organizations in the same season and is the first ever NFCA First Team All-American and the second Daktronics First Team selection (Jessika Anastos in 2008) in Fort Hays States softball history.
Holub set 12 single season records at Fort Hays State this past spring and now owns 33 total school records at Fort Hays State combining career, single-season and single game marks.
