Flags Lowered Saturday in Honor of SFC Trenton L. Rhea

In accordance with Executive Order 10-12, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff from sun-up to sun-down on Saturday, May 25 in honor of Sgt. 1st Class Trenton L. Rhea, who died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 while deployed to Kandahar Province, Afghanistan.

“I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to Sgt. 1st Class Rhea’s wife Leah, their three children, and to his entire family,” said Governor Brownback. “Sgt. 1st Class Rhea’s service to and sacrifice for his country will never be forgotten.”

Sgt. 1st Class Rhea was a member of the 603rd Military Policy Company, 530th Military Police Battalion, 300th Military Police Brigade, 200th Military Police Command, U.S. Army Reserve, Saint Joseph, Missouri.
