Latest Huelskamp Poll Results

huelskamp.jpgCongressman Tim Huelskamp reported the poll results from the monthly telephone town hall his office conducted yesterday evening for constituents. During these live telephone town hall events, Congressman Huelskamp invites the listeners to participate in an unscientific survey by answering several poll questions. Below are the results of the poll questions asked during the May 21, 2013 telephone town hall.
In last night’s telephone town hall poll, 88% of 905 respondents (nearly 9 in 10) approved of Tim Huelskamp’s work as their Representative in Congress.
Last night’s poll also found that 92% of Big First District respondents think Congress should create a Select Committee to investigate the Benghazi affair.
Also, 95% of Kansas respondents think Congress should continue investigating the IRS until those officials responsible for the political targeting are identified and held accountable.

Congressman Huelskamp released this statement about the latest telephone town hall poll results:
“Kansans in the Big First District hired me to serve them in Congress, and it is my honor and privilege to do so. I’m encouraged to know my representation of their interests in Washington has not gone unnoticed. In fact, this performance evaluation is the highest approval rating (88%) I’ve ever received. Additionally, it is clear that Kansans demand answers from and further investigation of this Administration in regards to the Benghazi affair and the IRS’ illicit targeting.”
These bipartisan telephone town hall events are attended by constituents of all ideological and partisan persuasions, and all constituents on the call are invited to participate in the poll. If you reside in the First District of Kansas and have not received telephone calls inviting you to participate in Congressman Huelskamp’s monthly telephone town halls, please contact his Washington D.C. office at (202) 225-2715.
