Did it seem hot in Hays Memorial Day?  It was.

Another new record high was set, according to Joe Becker, official weather guy at the KSU Agricultural Research Center south of Hays.

Yesterday’s high in Hays was 103 degrees, surpassing the former high of 100 degrees on May 27 in 1942.
