A few reports of hail and some brief damaging winds across the state from Thursday’s severe weather but no significant damage was reported. There was hail reported in Ellis County from Thursday afternoon’s Severe Thunderstorm warning.

There were six tornado reports on Thursday including those north of Oklahoma City, in the Tulsa area, and in Arkansas. Portions of Southeast Kansas are still under a flood watch today. The official rainfall total from the K-State Ag research center South of of Hays was .41 of an inch. That gives us 2.16 inches in May and 5.95 inches for 2013.
