(AP) — Wichita police say a body that was pulled from the Little Arkansas River Sunday belonged to a man who ran from officers last week.
Police say the body was that of 38-year-old Kenneth Zabienski of Wichita. A jogger reported seeing the body in the river Sunday.
Zabienski ran after officers pulled him over last Thursday and he failed a field sobriety test. Officers were getting ready to arrest Zabienski when he ran and jumped in the river.
