The 2013 Kansas Softball Coaches Association released their All-State selections this week and Hays High’s Shea Briggs was a 2nd team selection in the infield.
The senior first-baseman led the team in hitting with a .541 average, had a team-high 46 hits and second in runs scored with 27 and doubles with six.
Briggs also led the Indians on the base paths going 24-for-24 in stolen base attempts.
She also started all 24 games at 1st base and committed just three errors all season.
Briggs was also a 1st team all WAC selection this season.
