An infant died in a car crash on Friday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, “ Thirty-one year old Tabitha L. Rushing of Livingston, Texas was driving a 1994 Ford Explorer northbound on US 177, 2 miles south of South Haven in Sumner County. The Explorer left the roadway for unknown reasons. Rushing attempted to get back on the roadway when the vehicle overturned, rolled 1 1/2 times coming to rest on its roof. An infant in the vehicle was killed. She was not in a safety seat. A 6 year old was wearing a seat belt. She was transported to a Wichita hospital.”
