A car hit a deer on I-70 early Monday morning. The accident sent a woman to the hospital.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, “ A 2011 Honda driven by Jason W. Lipiec of Medway, Ohio was west bound on I-70, 7 miles east of Colby just before 6 a.m. and struck a deer. Brittany Butler, age 25, a passenger in the Honda was transported to the hospital in Colby. The driver was not injured. Both were wearing seat belts.”
