A man was killed in a rollover accident on I-70 in Sherman County on Wednesday. According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, “Twenty four year old Justin Tyler Strickland of Burkburnet, Texas was driving a 2011 GMC pickup eastbound on I-70, 6 miles east of Goodland, when he fell asleep and drove into the south ditch.  The vehicle rolled and Corey Blaine McBride, age 23, of Bokoshe, Oklahoma, a passenger in the truck was ejected. The truck came to rest on its wheels facing north.  Burkburnett was wearing a seatbelt and was not injured. McBride was transported to Goodland Regional Medical Center where he died. He was not wearing a seat belt.”
