SKIL Resource Center, Hays, celebrated its new location with a ribbon cutting and open house Monday. The center is one of 10 in Kansas.
Lou Ann Kibbee manages the Hays office, 510 W. 29th Street, Suite A.
Although Kibbe says it’s great to now have private offices which provide better confidentiality and there’s more accessible parking for customers, the move comes as a result of major changes at the state level.
“We had to downsize our staff, but still offer a very broad array of resources to help disabled Kansans live independently.”
SKIL, headquartered in Parsons, now offers a new Orientation and Mobility Services for Kansans with visual impairments. Find out more tonight on Hays Post News, Eagle Community TV Channel 14.
