At approximately 5 p.m.Tuesday evening a mid-sized sedan burst into flames on I-70 west of Salina.

The vehicle was fully engulfed in flames and the Kansas Highway Patrol had to control traffic around the fire.

The traffic on I-70 was backed up just over one mile. Authorities confirmed there were no injuries.
