The Hays Area Chamber of Commerce is a finalist  for the national Chamber of the Year Award.

This morning, HACC  Executive Director Tammy Wellbrock and current chamber board chair Travis Kohlrus completed an in-depth interview at the National American Chamber of Commerce Executives conference in Oklahoma City.

The interview lasted 30 minutes before a panel of 5 judges. The team from Hays reports the interview went well.

The contingent from Hays will attend various classes and workshops today and hear from Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin on Wednesday.
