Storms rolled through portions of Kansas on Monday. Sumner County in south central Kansas reported straight-line winds of up to 80 miles per hour. The storm caused substantial damage to the school roof in Argonia. Monday storms also caused damage in portions of Reno County where power lines were down with 60 mile per hour winds. Areas of Barber County, near Sun City reported 83 mile per hour winds. Golf ball size hail was reported near Kingman and one-inch hail in Pretty Prairie.
