103 Years of Cheers, Steers and Volunteers.
That’s the theme of the Trego County Fair underway in WaKeeney through this weekend.
Thursday night happenings included the Treasure Dig, sponsored by different businesses each day. Brothers Perrin Trapp, 8, and Jacob Trapp, 9, were on the hunt:

Friday morning crews set up the stage and began lighting and sound tests for tonight’s concert featuring the Texas Jamm Band. The group includes members of George Strait’s band, Ace in the Hole.
The parade is at ten o’clock Saturday morning, and Sunday evening concludes with the ever-popular Muddy Pig Brawl sponsored by the Trego County Fair Board.
