Huelskamp Hails House for Passing the “Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act”

–On Friday, Congressman Tim Huelskamp (R-Kansas), a co-sponsor of the “Keep the IRS Off Your Health Care Act,” hailed his colleagues for Tim Huelskamppassing H.R. 2009.

Rep. Huelskamp made the following statement:

“By passing our bill to prohibit the IRS from implementing or enforcing any part of ObamaCare, the House reiterated its desire to prevent ObamaCare from killing jobs, ballooning our debt, and destroying the greatest health care system in the world. Although this bill is an important step, the real measure of House Republicans’ commitment to halting ObamaCare will come when the fiscal year ends in September. As I did in in the weeks before the last Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government’s operations was passed in March, I will continue to lead the effort to persuade House Republicans that the House should pass only a CR that keeps the government open and defunds ObamaCare.”
