An inmate has reportedly escaped from the Hutchinson Correctional Facility.

At 3 p.m. on Saturday, law enforcement authorities across the state were notified of the search for Mark Lucas who was in jail on theft and burglary charges.

Lucas is described as a white male, 6’ tall, 180 pounds, with hazel eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing jeans, a blue shirt and brown shoes. Stay tuned to Eagle Radio and check Hays Post for more information as the story develops.
