Two injured in Saturday I-70 Accident UPDATE

4:25 p.m  Two were injured in an I-70 accident on Saturday afternoon.KHP

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Sixteen-year old Jeremy Scott Baggs of Dacula, Georgia was driving a 2011 Ford Fiesta east on I-70, 11 miles east of Russell. A bug distracted him. The car veered off the road into the south ditch striking the 196-mile marker sign. The car came to rest facing northeast. Baag and a passenger Chelsea Lauren Bell, age 21 of Kelso, Washington, were transported to Russell Regional Medical Center. They were wearing seat belts

 

1: 45 p.m.   Kansas Highway Patrol and emergency responders are on the scene of 1 vehicle rollover accident on I-70 at mile post 196 east of Russell.  Stay tuned to Eagle Radio and check Hays Post for additional details as they become available.
