The Hays Police Department is investigating a burglary that occurred Thursday afternoon.

According to Lt. Ron Rounkles, “At approximately 3:10pm, subjects stole an item from an open garage in the 1300 block of Lawrence Drive.

The suspects were driving a light grey, newer-style 4-door passenger car. Anyone with information is encouraged to call 785-625-1030
