The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) closed both the I-70 east and westbound rest area facilities east of Russell today.
In order to address maintenance issues, the closure is indefinite at this time.
Although the restroom facilities are closed to the public, the parking lots and dump stations will remain open.
