The 150th anniversary of the American Civil War is being recognized at your Hays Public Library. The Civil War sesquicentennial (2011-2015) provides a fresh opportunity for a new generation to learn more.
Next year, your Hays Public Library will be hosting a national Lincoln exhibit titled “Lincoln: the Constitution and the Civil War.” In preparation for this exciting event, the Library will be hosting a graphic design contest. Create and submit an innovative design that reflects the name of the exhibit, and you may find your work on t-shirts that will be given away at the event. This contest is open to the public.
Design Specifications:
Designs must be submitted as PDF’s to [email protected]
Designs must be two-color vector
Fonts used must be created outlines
You must incorporate the name of the exhibit title, “Lincoln: the Constitution and
the Civil War” as well as the dates of the exhibit, February 5, 2014 – March 21, 2014
“Hays Public Library” must be visible on the t-shirt via text or logo.
