Museum cleans up after storm damage

(AP) — Workers at Dodge City’s Boot Hill Museum were scrambling to repair the damage after thunderstorms packing high winds tore through the southwest severe-weatherKansas town.

Museum employee Brad Smalley said the aftermath of the storms late Monday and early Tuesday was the worst he had seen.

Smalley said the wind toppled trees around the museum and at the Boot Hill cemetery. A large tepee was blown over, and the museum’s large sign came down.

Boot Hill staff said the cleanup was completed Tuesday.
