A Thomas County man was injured in Tuesday rollover accident.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, Forty two year old Terry Lynn Overton of Colby was driving a 2002 Ford Ranger pickup northbound on Thomas County Road 16.  He was attempting to show his son how to do a doughnut. Vehicle began to fishtail, ran off the roadway to the right and overturned coming to rest on its top. Overton was transported to the hospital in Colby. A passenger in the truck, Brennon Eugene Overton, age 15, of Colby was not injured.

Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
