At recent bi-annual Convention of the Young Democrats of America, Kansas Young Democrats State President Ben Cohen was elected as the national 2nd Vice-President of the Young Democrats of America.

“This is a well-deserved honor and we are proud to count Ben as a fellow Kansas Democrat,” said Jason Perkey, Kansas Democratic Party Executive Director. “The KDP knows that Ben will represent Kansas Democrats well at the national level and continue working to elect leaders who will fight to keep the American Dream within reach.”

The Young Democrats of America (YDA) is the largest youth-led, national, partisan political organization. Founded in 1932, YDA has mobilized young people under the age of 36 to participate in the electoral process, influenced the ideals of the Democratic Party, and developed the skills of the youth generation to serve as leaders at the local and national level for over 80 years.
