(AP) — A Wichita man has been charged with stealing computer hardware and other items from four of his former employers and selling the goods online.
A 12-count indictment unsealed Thursday in federal court charges 44-year-old Mark A. Lankford with wire fraud and money laundering. Prosecutors are also seeking a forfeiture judgment.
The government alleges Lankford stole the items while working at Farmland Foods, Independent Electric Machinery, Fiber Glass Systems and Spirit AeroSystems. The indictment charges he then sold the stolen goods on eBay and by email.
A voice message left at his Wichita home was not returned, and court records do not show a defense attorney.
