A southwest Kansas man was injured in a Sunday afternoon accident.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Twenty-year-old Andrew Lee Trevino was driving a 1997 Mazda passenger car eastbound on US 160, 3.5 miles west of Ulysses. The car veered off the left side of the road, struck an embankment, went airborne for a short distance and came to rest on its wheels in a field. Trevino was transported to Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses. He was wearing a seat belt.
