During the the Democratic National Convention summer meetings Kansas Democratic Party National Committeewoman Teresa Krusor, Wichita, was elected Chair of the Democratic National Committee Midwest Hispanic Caucus. The Midwest Hispanic Caucus represents Kansas as well as Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oklahoma and Nebraska.
“I’m proud to represent Kansas and the Kansas Democratic Party in this new role,” Teresa Krusor said. “While Kris Kobach and the far-right faction of the Kansas Republican Party work relentlessly to tear families apart, the Kansas Democratic Party is engaging Hispanics on every level and trying to find common sense solutions that will strengthen all our Kansas communities.”
