Two men were injured in a Wednesday rollover accident near Oakley.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol Sixty-four year old David Paul Eakle of Tuscon, Arizona was driving a 2009 Toyota passenger car westbound on US 40 at mile-marker 66 or 2.8 miles West of US 83 in Logan County.

The semi-truck went to pass a different vehicle at the same time and did not see the Toyota coming. The Toyota left the highway and rolled in the dirt field to the south and came to rest on it’s top.  Eakle and a passenger in the Toyota Jacob Shiloh Eakle, age 25 of Providence, Rhode Island were transported to the hospital in Oakley. They were both wearing seat belts.
