The Hays High girls’ tennis team opened their season Thursday by winning the Cimarron Invitational. Julie Balzer was the Indians lone individual champ, going 4-0 to win No. 2 singles. Brook Forinash went 3-1 and finished second at No. 1 singles.

The No. 1 doubles team of Molly Barnett and Kelsee DeBoer went 3-1 and finished third. The No. 2 doubles team of Emily McPherson and Ashley Cossart went 2-2 and also finished third.
