The I-135/I-70 Drug Task Force arrested a Salina man Friday afternoon on charges that included selling methamphetamine.

Lt. Jim Norton, DTF commander said 45-year-old Stephen Smith was arrested after a search warrant was used to recover about 2-ounces of packaged meth found inside the motor home he was living in, parked in the driveway of a home in the 1400 block of E. Cloud in Salina.
Also recovered was $14,444 in currency, believed to be drug sale proceeds, and a .40 caliber handgun.
Norton said the Task Force was called around the noon hour Friday after a state parole officer checking on Smith, saw the drugs an cash inside the motor home that Smith had permission to live in.
Norton said authorities had been monitoring activity of Smith, and there had been neighbor complaints about possible drug activity.
