For the fourth year in a row, community members will have the opportunity to stroll through participating businesses in Downtown Hays sampling wines and microbrews, and enjoying the unique and eclectic atmosphere of the Historic Chestnut Street District.

The Downtown Hays Development Corporation will play host to the 4th Annual Wines & Steins on Saturday, September 14, 2013.

Participating downtown businesses will provide a sample of select wines and microbrews, as well as hors d’oeuvres for reservation holders to enjoy during the evening.  Participants will then stroll to the post-stroll celebration and auction held in the parking lot of the Emprise Bank.

The post stroll gathering will feature live music, complimentary beverages and desserts, as well as a silent and live auction!  Proceeds from the event will go towards Downtown Hays Development Corporation operations, aesthetic improvements and long-term projects.  Continued growth of our Historic Downtown will be featured during the event.

Downtown is a defined district from the City of Hays Comprehensive Plan, and therefore, the DHDC will be using the funds raised at this event to continue on projects that have been brought forth from the community.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 14, 2013! It is sure to be a charming night in our Downtown! Must be 21 to attend.
