Nearly 6,000 times a day, someone receives blood from a Red Cross donor, and yet, only about three percent of the population donates.

The Ellis Knights of Columbus will host a blood drive Wednesday, September 18, from noon until 6p.m.

There is currently an urgent need for blood types O-, A- and B- in the ARC Central Plains region serving Kansas and northern Oklahoma.
