Get your taste buds ready! Kansas Cooks will be hosting a chili cook-off Monday, September 30 in the Hays Public Library.  The event will begin at 12:00 p.m.  Patrons will have the opportunity to taste different chili recipes throughout the day and vote for their favorites.

For those interested in participating in this fun and tasty event, register on the online calendar at www.hayspublib.org or call Luci Bain at 785-625-9014.  Participants may bring a crock pot of their chili along with one copy of their recipe to share with other Kansas Cooks!  The chili should be ready for tasting by Noon on September 30 in the Schmidt Gallery of the Library.

Kansas Cooks meet on a quarterly basis downstairs in the Kansas Room of the Hays Public Library.  There is a theme for each meeting in which members prepare the themed item to share with group.  It is a fun meeting to swap recipes and fill up on scrumptious treats and conversation.  For more information, or to join, contact Luci Bain at 785-625-9014.
