Fort Hays State’s Jaccob Rangel has been named the MIAA Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week. Rangel helped the Tigers go 1-0-1 for the week, including a tie with No. 6 Northeastern State, where he had the game-tying goal at 74:59.

His four points were tied for team-best with Daniel Peralta, and he had the game-winner against Harding.

The 5-8 sophomore is a native of Oklahoma City, Okla. where he competed at Putnam City North High School.
