NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) – Kimberly Perry is a pretty fine catch. So it should be no surprise that The Band Perry singer has been “caught” by someone who gets paid to catch. She is engaged Toronto Blue Jays catcher J.P. Arencibia (ahr-en-SEE’-bee-ah). The band’s publicist is confirming the pending nuptials – which was first reported on by The Tennessean newspaper in Nashville. He popped the question Monday night at her parents’ home in Greenville, Tennessee. The Band Perry launches a world tour next month in Sweden. Arencibia is a Miami native who attended the University of Tennessee and was drafted by the Jays in the first round of the 2007 draft.
