On Monday night at the Ellis County Commission County Treasurer Ann Pfeifer took the oath of office as the first ever female elected as the County Treasurer.

Pfeifer was elected to the position earlier this year and appointed treasurer on April 1st, replacing Mike Billinger who did not seek re-election.

Pfeifer ran unopposed for the office. Her elected position begins Tuesday October 8^th.
